Liz Bubb is the Catalyst Initiative Coordinator and Executive Assistant at the George Family Foundation. In this role, she manages the day-to-day operations for the Foundation’s multi-year initiative to build out integrative health and healing in the State of Minnesota. In addition, Ms. Bubb provides professional administrative support for the Catalyst office.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Bubb held a variety of roles for the US Navy, Pentagon, in Washington, D.C. Most recently she supported the Energy and Environmental Readiness Division as first the division’s administrative assistant and then as an environmental analyst. Through her support of both the Navy training mission, the protection of natural resources and wildlife, and awareness of impacts on civilians and sailors she learned the value of listening to those at the grass-roots level. Those are the people that policy impacts the most and they are the ones that need to be listened to and learned from. She wants to keep this knowledge in mind and put it into practice through her support and work for the Catalyst Initiative.

Outside of work, Liz enjoys the outdoors through waterskiing, running, and hiking. She also spends her free time volunteering at local museums such as the Baaken Museum, where she gets the opportunity to express her love of history through archival work.

Ms. Bubb holds a bachelor of arts in history from the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
