Illusion Theater Presents New Stage Adaptation by Michael Egan

On September 26 and 27, 2020, Illusion Theater in Minneapolis will present a virtual performance of a new stage adaptation of Five Minutes in Heaven, a play about violence and reconciliation set during the “Troubles” in Northern Ireland. The original film starred Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt and won multiple awards at the Sundance Film Festival.

This new stage adaptation was created by Michael Egan, who is an acupuncturist and teaches tai chi and qi gong at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing at Allina Health. Michael is a dear friend of the George Family Foundation, and we are excited to see his adaptation of this powerful story.
